CERT, the Springfield Community Emergency Response Team has invited CAARERT members to attend their November meeting. The topic is Earthquakes.
Robert A. Bauer Engineering Geologist, Illinois State Geological Survey Institute of Natural Resources Sustainability at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign will be on hand with a presentation of: EARTHQUAKES Why we have them, where we have them, what to expect in general across an area and what controls damage, and what responders may encounter along the way and what to look out for to stay safe.There is a map to the CERT training location on their website...
